MP Home Watch was created by Gerard Rosenberger with the goal to better service the seasonal residents who prefer eyes on their property when they can't be there and a little help to oversee the maintenance their home. The goal of our services is to offer a more personalized approach to property management and off season house checks.
What does that mean?
1. Know Who is in Your Home
You will know exactly who is responsible for checking your home and direct access to company owner and house manager.
2. Communication and Transparency
In the event any issues arise or we have any suggestions regarding your home, you are the first to know. We don't wait until after the problem is fixed, we update you throughout the process.
3. You Keep Control
Nothing will be done to your home without your approval. All annual maintenance, one time fixes, etc. must be approved by the homeowner.
We use your preferred contractors. While we have a vast pool of local relationships and can certainly recommend contractors where needed, we will defer to your preferred contractors and the ones who already know your house the best.
Gerard Rosenberger was born and raised in Margate, where his passion for real estate began at a young age. With both parents working in the industry, he grew up touring homes, construction sites, and learning firsthand the value of strong client relationships and well-managed properties.
After graduating from St. Augustine Prep, Gerard went on to earn his degree in Real Estate and Marketing from Villanova University. He began his career in Philadelphia, working for large-scale real estate owners and managers. During that time, he played a key role in the acquisition and development of more than $1 billion in multifamily properties, gaining extensive experience in construction, management, and investment operations.
When Gerard returned home to Margate, he joined his family’s brokerage, Marketplace Realty, where he now oversees company operations as both an agent and manager. Recognizing a gap in services for second homeowners at the shore, he founded MP Home Watch—a property management company specializing in house-watching, routine inspections, and maintenance oversight for secondary homes.
Through MP Home Watch, Gerard combines the professionalism and high standards of his corporate background with the personal touch of a family-run business. His clients trust him to safeguard their homes, handle issues proactively, and provide peace of mind when they’re away. With deep local roots, industry expertise, and a hands-on approach, Gerard is dedicated to helping homeowners protect and preserve one of their most valuable investments.
Owen grew up in Cherry Hill, spending his summers in Margate before making Margate his full-time home.
After graduating from Cherry Hill High School, he dove straight into real estate and became a licensed Realtor. Eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of the field, Owen joined Gerard at MP Home Watch—an experience that allowed him to engage with property management on a deeper level and build long-term trust with homeowners.
When Owen became a licensed Realtor he sought out ways to breach into the competitive landscape in a way that would garner the proper experience needed to understand the entirety of Real estate. That is when he joined Gerard and MP Home watch.
To expand his hands-on knowledge of homeownership, Owen is actively apprenticing in general handyman work, developing practical skills for identifying and addressing common home issues.
